I really am the luckiest woman in the world. My husband of 42 years has always given me the privilege of doing what I like to do. When I was raising my 3 children, I was a stay at home mom while they were young, something that was done more often in the 70’s than now.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been into some kind of crafts. I have a sign in my craft room I made that says, “I was Crafty when Crafty wasn’t Cool!”. That fits me to a tee.
I have been a tole painter, retired from my own web design-graphic design business for over 17 years, and now a full time paper crafter.
I have 9 grand children and 1 great granddaughter. About 20 years ago, we moved to a beautiful 16 acre property in the country.
I started scrapbooking over 10 years ago and it has evolved into card making, 3D paper crafting and vinyl art. After all, I had so much supplies, there had to be something I could do with it.
(By the way, that idea never works, we always need more.)
Now I make all kinds of things for gifts, for ourselves, and hopefully for others that would like to give things as gifts too.
I’ve even trained my husband how to shop at Michaels and Hobby Lobby for me!! He know exactly what to buy and what is a good price.
Well now that you have read my story, I’m sure you have figured out why I’m the luckiest woman alive.
I get to do what I love each and every day with the full support of the hubby. How many woman can say that.
I hope you visit often to see some of the other things I have created. I hope to give you some enjoyment too.
